New Honor Smartphone Packs 7,500 mAh Battery

ultimateimp – Budget Smartphone Targets Everyday Users With Long Battery Life. Honor has quietly expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of the Honor X7e. A new entry-level device designed to deliver strong battery life and practical features at an affordable price.

The smartphone has entered the global market following the recent international debut of the Honor 600 Pro. Honor is positioning the X7e as a budget-friendly option for users seeking reliable daily performance without a premium price tag.

The device is currently available in Malaysia. Where it is offered in a single configuration featuring 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The model is priced at MYR 899, which is approximately $225.

Customers can choose between two color options: Midnight Black and Sunset Orange.

The headline feature of the Honor X7e is its exceptionally large battery. The Malaysian version includes a 7,500mAh battery, making it one of the largest battery capacities available in its price category.

Honor has paired the battery with 45W wired charging support. Allowing users to recharge the device more quickly despite its substantial power capacity.

The company has confirmed that versions sold outside Malaysia will feature a slightly smaller 7,000mAh battery. Even with that reduction, the battery remains significantly larger than those found in many competing budget smartphones.

On the front, the smartphone features a 6.6-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smoother scrolling and animations than standard 60Hz screens.

High-refresh-rate displays have become increasingly popular in recent years, and their inclusion in affordable smartphones helps improve the overall user experience.

Honor has also equipped the device with 5-star SGS premium drop protection certification, suggesting an emphasis on durability and everyday resilience.

Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor. The chipset is designed to handle common tasks such as messaging, social media browsing, video streaming, and light gaming while maintaining efficient power consumption.

Combined with the large battery, the processor should help the device deliver strong endurance during everyday use.

Android 16 and 50MP Camera Highlight Feature Set

One of the more notable additions to the Honor X7e is a dedicated customizable AI button. The one-tap AI key is similar to the feature introduced on Honor’s higher-end 600 series smartphones.

By bringing the AI key to a budget device, Honor is extending a feature previously associated with more expensive smartphones.

For photography, the Honor X7e includes a 50-megapixel main rear camera accompanied by an additional auxiliary sensor. On the front, the device houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera for video calls and self-portraits.

Software is another area where the smartphone arrives with modern specifications. The device runs MagicOS 10.0 based on Android 16 straight out of the box.

Launching with Android 16 gives users access to one of the latest versions of Google’s mobile operating system from day one.

However, Honor has not announced a software update policy for the smartphone. The absence of official information raises questions regarding long-term software support and future Android upgrades.

The Honor X7e comes with 256GB of internal storage, providing ample space for applications, photos, videos, and files.

Physically, the smartphone measures 8.29mm thick and weighs approximately 207 grams. Considering the exceptionally large battery inside, the overall dimensions remain relatively manageable.

The Honor X7e enters the market as a battery-focused budget smartphone that combines a 120Hz display, Android 16 software, a dedicated AI shortcut button, and a large-capacity battery. While its camera system and software support commitments remain modest, the device offers a compelling package for users prioritizing endurance, practicality, and value in an affordable smartphone.
