ultimateimp – Lenovo is expanding its IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 lineup with a new 15-inch model powered by Intel’s budget-oriented Wildcat Lake processors. The IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 15IWC11 will offer entry-level Core 3 and Core 5 options, along with up to 16GB of DDR5 memory.
New Wildcat Lake processors
Lenovo has already introduced Intel Wildcat Lake processors across several IdeaPad models. Including the IdeaPad Slim 3, IdeaPad Slim 5 and the 14-inch IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 14IWC11.
The company is now bringing the same budget-focused platform to its larger 15-inch convertible laptop. The IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 15IWC11 will be available with either an Intel Core 3 304 or Core 5 315 processor.
Both processors can be paired with up to 16GB of single-channel DDR5-5600 memory. Storage specifications have yet to be fully detailed.
For comparison, the current 15-inch IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 starts at $1,039.99 with an Intel Core Ultra 5 322 processor and 16GB of dual-channel RAM. A higher-end version with a Core Ultra 7 355 and 32GB of RAM costs $1,469.99.
The new Wildcat Lake model could therefore provide a lower-cost entry point for users who want a large convertible laptop without moving up to Lenovo’s premium processor configurations.
15.3-inch display and convertible design
The IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 15IWC11 retains its 360-degree hinge. Allowing it to be used in both traditional laptop and tablet modes.
Its display is a 15.3-inch IPS panel with a 1920 x 1200 resolution. A 60Hz refresh rate and up to 400 nits of brightness. Lenovo has also switched to a glossy finish for the new model instead of the matte surface found on the previous configuration.
There does not appear to be an OLED option or a higher-refresh-rate display for the Wildcat Lake version. Those features are available on some of Lenovo’s higher-end Panther Lake models and the IdeaPad Slim 5 15IWC11.
Other specifications include a 1080p webcam with a privacy shutter, a keyboard with a dedicated number pad and optional backlighting. The laptop also features a 60Wh battery that Lenovo rates for up to 18.99 hours under its official testing conditions.
The chassis combines an aluminum lid with a plastic bottom section. The laptop measures 13.39 x 9.53 x 0.69 inches and weighs approximately 3.90 pounds.

Pricing and availability
Lenovo has listed the IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 15IWC11 on its global PSREF website. Including several regional SKUs for markets such as the United States.
However, the company has not yet announced pricing or retail availability for the new model. The existing Panther Lake-powered version is already available to order through Lenovo’s website. With its lower-end Intel processors, 15.3-inch display and versatile 360-degree hinge.
