Lava Bold N2 Pro Debuts with 120Hz Display and Unisoc T7250 Chip

The Lava Bold N2 Pro features a 6.67-inch LCD display with a 720p+ resolution. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smoother scrolling and improved responsiveness. The screen is slightly smaller than the vanilla Bold N2, but maintains a focus on fluid visuals.

The device uses the Unisoc T7250 chipset. It pairs this processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. However, the phone does not support expandable storage, which may limit flexibility for some users.

On the software side, the smartphone runs Android 15 out of the box. Lava has committed to providing one major OS update, which will bring the device to Android 16. The company will also deliver two years of security updates, extending support until 2028.

The Bold N2 Pro retains a 5,000mAh battery, similar to the standard model. It supports 18W wired charging, but Lava only includes a 10W charger in the box. This setup may result in slower charging unless users choose a higher-powered adapter.

50MP Camera and INR 7,999 Price Strengthen Budget Appeal

The device offers a significant camera upgrade compared to the Bold N2. It features a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. In contrast, the standard model includes a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

The Bold N2 Pro also includes an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. This adds a layer of durability not always found in entry-level smartphones. Such features enhance its appeal for everyday use.

Despite offering improved specifications, the Pro variant is priced lower than the standard version. The base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at INR 7,999, approximately $85. This positions it as a competitive option in the budget 5G segment.

The smartphone is currently available for preorder through Flipkart. Buyers can choose between aurora gold and eclipse grey color options.

The launch reflects growing competition in the budget smartphone market. Manufacturers continue to introduce higher-end features at lower price points. The Bold N2 Pro aligns with this trend by combining affordability with improved specifications.

As consumer expectations evolve, devices like the Bold N2 Pro highlight shifting priorities. Features such as high refresh rate displays and better cameras are becoming standard in this segment. Lava aims to meet these demands while maintaining strong value.
