Xiaomi Smart Solar Camera 4 Pro Offers Solar Power and Dual 4G Support
The Xiaomi Smart Solar Camera 4 Pro was initially introduced through the company’s Youpin crowdfunding platform before receiving a full commercial launch in China.
One of its standout features is the included solar panel, which continuously recharges the camera during daylight hours. This eliminates the need for a dedicated power source in most installation scenarios and simplifies deployment in remote outdoor locations.
The camera also operates without a traditional broadband connection thanks to its dual built-in 4G SIM cards. According to Xiaomi, the dual-card setup enables automatic switching between mobile networks, ensuring stable connectivity even when signal strength drops.
For periods of limited sunlight, the camera relies on its integrated 9,900mAh battery. Xiaomi claims the battery can power the device for more than eight days after a full charge. Providing continuous surveillance during cloudy weather or nighttime operation.

The Smart Solar Camera 4 Pro features a dual-camera system equipped with two 5-megapixel image sensors capable of recording 3K high-definition video.
The upper camera supports 180 degrees of horizontal rotation and 20 degrees of vertical movement, while the lower camera offers a much wider range with 355 degrees of horizontal rotation and 95 degrees of vertical adjustment. This configuration allows users to monitor a larger area with a single device.
Xiaomi also equips the camera with an f/1.6 aperture lens to improve image quality in challenging lighting conditions. The wider aperture helps capture more detail during low-light environments.
For nighttime surveillance, the Smart Solar Camera 4 Pro supports full-color night vision and incorporates dual infrared LEDs. Xiaomi states the infrared system can provide clear visibility at distances of up to 10 meters.
