ultimateimp – AOC has launched the AGON AG277QSD, a new 26.5-inch QHD gaming monitor designed primarily for competitive gaming and esports. The monitor combines a high-refresh-rate QD-OLED panel with a 320Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time, and HDR support.
The AG277QSD uses a new five-layer QD-OLED Penta Tandem panel developed using Samsung Display technology. The panel features five stacked organic light-emitting layers instead of the four-layer structure used by earlier OLED designs. AOC pairs the panel with a 2560 x 1440 resolution for a balance between image detail and high frame rates.

Five-Layer QD-OLED Panel Brings High Refresh Rate

According to AOC, the monitor achieves an average Delta E below 2 in DisplayHDR mode, including brightness accuracy. Its DCI-P3 mode reportedly achieves a Delta E below 1. These figures suggest a strong focus on color accuracy, although actual performance can vary between individual units and usage conditions.
Gaming Features and Extensive Connectivity
The AGON AG277QSD includes variable refresh rate support and MBR Sync technology for reducing motion blur during gameplay. AOC also equips the monitor with its DarkShield coating, while the OLED panel is designed to deliver the fast response times required for competitive gaming.
Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB hub. Competitive players can also activate a one-touch display mode that reduces the usable screen area from 26.5 inches to 24.5 inches. The monitor supports legacy competitive resolutions, including 1280 x 960 in a 4:3 aspect ratio and 1280 x 1024 in a 5:4 format.
