Powered by AMD’s Strix Halo platform, the laptop combines a Ryzen AI Max+ 388 processor with Radeon 8060S graphics, a 165Hz OLED display, and an 84Wh battery for both creative work and gaming.
The Yoga Pro 7a Gen 11 previously launched in Asia and Europe after being unveiled by Lenovo at MWC 2026. The laptop was introduced alongside the Legion 7a, although Lenovo positioned the Yoga Pro 7a as a device focused more on productivity and content creation than gaming.
Despite that positioning, its graphics performance makes the laptop appealing to gamers as well. The Yoga Pro 7a relies on the Radeon 8060S integrated into the Ryzen AI Max+ 388 APU, offering considerably more graphics performance than typical laptop integrated GPUs.
Ryzen AI Max+ 388 and Radeon 8060S Lead the Performance
The entry-level Yoga Pro 7a Gen 11 configuration in the US costs $2,569.99. This model comes with the Ryzen AI Max+ 388 paired with 32GB of LPDDR5X-8000 RAM and a 512GB SSD.
Lenovo also offers a 1TB SSD option. However, US customers do not get the 64GB RAM configuration available in some other markets. The memory is also soldered and cannot be upgraded.
The Ryzen AI Max+ 388 features eight Zen 5 CPU cores clocked between 3.6GHz and 5GHz. Beyond its CPU capabilities, one of the chip’s biggest advantages is the integrated Radeon 8060S GPU.
The Radeon 8060S has previously demonstrated highly competitive performance. In testing of the Asus ROG Flow Z13, the GPU delivered performance roughly comparable to an RTX 4070 Laptop GPU.
That level of performance means the Yoga Pro 7a Gen 11 is not limited to creative workloads. It should also be capable of running modern games, particularly when graphics settings and resolution are adjusted according to the hardware.
