Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G Launch Soon in India

ultimateimp – Realme has officially begun teasing the launch of its upcoming budget 5G smartphone, the Narzo 80 Lite 5G, in India. Although the company has not confirmed an exact release date, a dedicated Amazon microsite is live, confirming its availability through the e-commerce platform. The new model will join the previously launched Narzo 80x and Narzo 80 Pro, which debuted in April.

Realme has already shared a few confirmed specifications, including the battery size, design elements, and price range. The phone is expected to fall under Rs. 10,000, making it one of the most affordable 5G options in the country. The Narzo 80 Lite 5G targets budget-conscious users looking for essential features with modern connectivity and long battery life.

The teaser also shows that the phone will come in two color options—Crystal Purple and Onyx Black—both featuring a slim profile and a rectangular rear camera layout.

Battery and Charging: Massive 6,000mAh Battery with Reverse Charging Support

One of the biggest highlights of the Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G is its 6,000mAh battery. Realme claims that the battery can provide up to 15.7 hours of continuous YouTube playback or up to 46.6 hours of voice call time on a single charge. These figures suggest impressive longevity, especially for users who prioritize battery life over frequent charging.

The phone will also support reverse charging, allowing it to serve as a power source for other devices, such as earbuds or wearables. The Narzo 80x and 80 Pro offer 45W and 80W SuperVOOC charging respectively. Which could hint at a modest charging speed for the Lite version.

Despite the large battery, the Narzo 80 Lite remains relatively slim, measuring just 7.94mm in thickness. This makes it a practical option for users who want strong battery performance in a compact design.

Design and Build: Durable and Lightweight with MIL-STD-810H Rating

The Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G will feature a slim design with modern aesthetics. The teaser reveals a flat frame with volume and power buttons placed on the right side. The rear houses a dual camera setup in a rectangular module, accompanied by an elliptical LED flash unit.

Come with a MIL-STD-810H certification, indicating enhanced durability. This military-grade rating ensures that the device can withstand various environmental stressors, including temperature changes, drops, and vibration.

Color options include Crystal Purple and Onyx Black, both of which aim to appeal to younger users with stylish yet minimal looks. The lightweight and slim body further enhance usability for daily tasks and travel.

Performance and Storage: MediaTek Dimensity Chipset with Dual Storage Options

Leaks suggest that the Narzo 80 Lite 5G will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. This chipset is expected to provide solid performance for basic multitasking, app usage and 5G connectivity. While it may not be ideal for intensive gaming, it should handle everyday use cases efficiently.

The device is expected to launch in two storage variants—4GB RAM with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. This gives users flexibility based on their needs and budget. The base variant is tipped to be priced at Rs. 9,999, while the higher variant may come in at Rs. 11,999.

These configurations aim to balance affordability with enough internal space for apps, photos, and downloads, especially considering the absence of high-end expandable memory options in many modern phones.

Display and Camera: HD+ Screen and 50MP Dual Camera Setup

While Realme has not confirmed the display specifications, leaks suggest the Narzo 80 Lite 5G will feature an HD+ display. This screen resolution should be sufficient for regular tasks like browsing, video streaming, and social media use, though it may not match the sharpness of a Full HD panel. The rear camera system is expected to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with a secondary depth or macro sensor. This setup should offer good daylight photography, especially in this price segment. Users should be able to capture social media-ready photos with ease.
