ultimateimp – Lenovo has revealed new details about its upcoming Legion Y700 Infinite gaming tablet. Offering a closer look at the device through an official teaser video ahead of its launch in China.
The compact gaming tablet first made a surprise appearance during the G-Fusion Game Festival 2026 before Lenovo formally announced the device shortly afterward. The latest promotional video highlights the tablet’s gaming-inspired design and confirms several visual features that set it apart from previous Legion tablets.
The Legion Y700 Infinite will join Lenovo’s premium gaming lineup alongside the Legion Y700 Gen 5. Which debuted in China earlier this year with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
RGB Rear Lighting and OLED Display Expected
One of the most eye-catching features showcased in Lenovo’s latest teaser is the addition of RGB lighting on the rear panel.
The tablet features three illuminated RGB strips surrounding the rear camera module, positioned directly above the LED flash. This lighting system gives the Legion Y700 Infinite a more aggressive gaming aesthetic compared to the standard Legion Y700 Gen 5. The teaser video also provides a glimpse of the front display.
While Lenovo emphasizes the slim bezels. The borders surrounding the screen still appear thicker than those found on many flagship smartphones. However, they remain relatively narrow for a compact gaming tablet and should provide a comfortable grip during gameplay.
Although Lenovo has not officially confirmed the display specifications. Previous reports suggest the Legion Y700 Infinite will feature an OLED panel.
If accurate, the OLED screen would represent a significant upgrade by delivering deeper blacks, higher contrast. And more vibrant colors for gaming and multimedia content.
The exact display size remains unknown, though Lenovo has confirmed the device will be smaller than the Legion Y700 Gen 5, which is sold internationally as the Legion Tab Gen 5.
5G Connectivity Confirmed Ahead of Official Launch
Lenovo has already confirmed one important hardware feature ahead of the tablet’s launch. The Legion Y700 Infinite will support 5G connectivity, allowing users to enjoy high-speed online gaming, cloud gaming services. And media streaming without relying solely on Wi-Fi connections.
This addition is expected to make the compact gaming tablet particularly attractive for users who frequently play while traveling. Beyond the design and 5G support, Lenovo has yet to disclose the complete hardware specifications.
The current Legion Y700 Gen 5 launched with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Positioning it among the most powerful Android gaming tablets available.
Although Lenovo has not officially confirmed the chipset inside the Legion Y700 Infinite. Expectations remain high that it will target flagship-level performance similar to its larger sibling.
The company is expected to reveal additional information, including the processor, display specifications, battery capacity, memory options, pricing, and launch schedule, in the coming weeks.
With its compact form factor, customizable RGB lighting, expected OLED display, and confirmed 5G connectivity, the Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite is shaping up to be another strong contender in the growing premium Android gaming tablet market.
