Starting with the display, the iQOO 15R features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel. Notably, the screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate and 4,320Hz PWM dimming. According to Vivo, the display reaches a local peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits. For security, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner sits beneath the display. Meanwhile, the front camera appears within a centered cutout and uses a 32MP sensor for selfies and video calls.

Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor powers the device. In contrast to the standard iQOO 15, this chipset sets the 15R apart. As a result, the phone targets flagship-level performance. In terms of memory, buyers can choose between 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Additionally, storage options include 256GB and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, thereby supporting high-speed data transfer and smooth multitasking.

Turning to the cameras, the rear module adopts a squircle shape with a circular section inside. At its core, the setup features a 50MP Sony LYT-700V main sensor with optical image stabilization. Alongside it, an 8MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture completes the configuration.

To enhance imaging, the phone integrates AI-powered photography tools. These include AI retouch, AI reflection eraser, AI season change, and AI UHD sharpening. Overall, these features aim to improve everyday photography results.
