ultimateimp – Samsung Galaxy A18 4G has appeared in a retailer listing ahead of its official launch. Revealing a near-complete specification sheet for the upcoming budget smartphone.
The biggest highlight is the processor. The Galaxy A18 4G is listed with the previously unseen Samsung Exynos 1610 chipset. Which has not yet appeared on Samsung’s official website or marketing materials. The processor could therefore become one of the more notable changes introduced with Samsung’s next-generation budget A-series device.

The Exynos 1610 has previously appeared in Geekbench databases under the internal codename S5E8365. Those early listings led to speculation that the chip could be a rebranded version of the Exynos 1280 or Exynos 1330. However, analysis of Samsung’s kernel source code indicates that the Exynos 1610 is a distinct chipset.
While its CPU and GPU components reportedly share similarities with existing Samsung chips. The Exynos 1610 appears to bring improvements to its imaging and video capabilities. Its upgraded image signal processor can reportedly support 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.
The chipset also supports several video formats through its encoder and decoder. These include HEVC and H.264, while VP9 is supported for decoding and VP8 is also included. Based on its appearance in the Galaxy A18 4G.
Galaxy A18 4G Specifications
Beyond the new processor, the retailer listing reveals several other specifications for the Galaxy A18 4G. The smartphone is reportedly equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display featuring FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Its specifications therefore appear broadly similar to those of the Galaxy A15. Suggesting Samsung may continue using a familiar display configuration for its more affordable smartphones.
The Galaxy A18 4G is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users will reportedly be able to expand the storage through a hybrid microSD card slot. Providing additional flexibility for storing applications, photos, videos and other files.
At this stage, Samsung has yet to officially confirm the Galaxy A18 4G, including its final specifications, pricing and availability.

Nevertheless, the appearance of the Galaxy A18 4G listing provides an early look at what Samsung may be preparing for its next budget smartphone. The previously unseen Exynos 1610 is particularly noteworthy, especially with its reported improvements to image processing and video capabilities.
If the leaked specifications prove accurate, the Galaxy A18 4G will combine a large 90Hz Super AMOLED display, 5,000mAh battery, 25W charging, expandable storage and a 50MP main camera with Samsung’s new 4G chipset.
