Designed for larger indoor spaces, the smart unit delivers up to 2,000mL of humidification per hour while offering advanced sterilization, multi-layer air filtration, and intelligent controls.
The Mijia Purifying Humidifier 3 Pro is currently available through Xiaomi Youpin’s crowdfunding platform in China. Although Xiaomi has not announced a global release, the product highlights the company’s continued focus on connected home appliances.
Xiaomi Mijia Purifying Humidifier 3 Pro Offers Fast Humidification for Large Rooms
The Mijia Purifying Humidifier 3 Pro is engineered to quickly increase indoor humidity in larger living spaces. Xiaomi states the appliance can release up to 2,000 milliliters of moisture every hour, allowing it to raise humidity levels in a standard bedroom within about seven minutes.
The company also claims the device can humidify a standard living room in approximately 19 minutes. However, Xiaomi has not specified the dimensions of the rooms used during its internal testing.
An integrated 8-liter water tank enables the humidifier to operate for up to 16 hours in sleep mode before requiring a refill. The large reservoir is intended to support overnight operation while reducing maintenance.
To improve hygiene, Xiaomi has equipped the appliance with a one-way water circulation system. This design prevents used water from flowing back into the main tank, helping reduce bacterial growth and minimize water discoloration.
The humidifier also includes electrolyzed water sterilization, a washable antibacterial filter, and a self-cleaning mode. These features are designed to maintain cleaner water while reducing routine maintenance for users.
Smart Controls and Six-Layer Air Filtration Enhance Indoor Air Quality
Alongside humidification, the Mijia Purifying Humidifier 3 Pro functions as a dedicated air purifier. Xiaomi says the appliance uses a six-layer filtration system capable of removing dust, PM1 particles, PM2.5 particles, allergens, and formaldehyde from indoor air.
Users can operate the purification and humidification functions independently. This flexibility allows the device to adapt to changing indoor conditions throughout the year.
A dome-shaped LCD display provides real-time information, including humidity, temperature, dust concentration, and overall air quality. The built-in display enables users to monitor environmental conditions directly from the appliance.
Additional controls are available through the Mijia mobile application and Xiaomi’s XiaoAI voice assistant. Users can remotely adjust humidity targets, monitor filter status, and manage operating modes using compatible smart home devices.
The Mijia Purifying Humidifier 3 Pro is currently being offered through Xiaomi Youpin’s crowdfunding platform in China for 1,699 yuan, approximately $251. Xiaomi has not confirmed pricing for other markets or announced plans to release the product internationally.
