ultimateimp – Lumio has entered the home projector market in India with the launch of its Arc 5 and Arc 7 models. Following the release of the Vision 7 and Vision 9 smart TVs in April, the company expands its product line with its first set of smart projectors. Both devices support native 1080p resolution and come with official Google TV and Netflix app. Integration offering users a full-fledged smart entertainment experience.

The Lumio Arc 5 projector is priced at Rs. 19,999 and will be available from the last week of July on Amazon. The Arc 7 model, priced at Rs. 34,999, will go on sale starting July 12. As part of Amazon’s Prime Day sale, the Arc 7 will be available at a discounted price of Rs. 29,999, including applicable card offers.

Both projectors use LED light sources and are designed for home cinema use. The Arc 5 can project images up to 100 inches with a brightness of 200 ANSI lumens. The Arc 7 designed for larger spaces, supports up to a 120-inch display and offers a brighter output of 400 ANSI lumens. Both projectors include Lumio’s Arc Light engine and feature sealed, dust-proof construction for better durability.

Audio output also varies between the two models. The Arc 5 includes a single 5W speaker, while the Arc 7 is equipped with two 8W speakers. Both projectors are built with a focus on delivering a cinema-like experience. With support for major streaming platforms and audio-video codecs.

Arc Projectors Feature Smart Integration, HDR, and Broad Codec Support

Lumio’s Arc 5 and Arc 7 projectors come with Google TV certification and native Netflix support. This ensures seamless access to a wide range of streaming services directly from the device. The projectors also support other major OTT platforms, enhancing their value as all-in-one home entertainment solutions.

Both models run on the MediaTek MT9630 processor and feature 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage. They support a wide range of video formats, including MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, H.265 (HEVC), VP8, VP9, and AV1, all at up to 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second. Audio support includes popular codecs like FLAC, Dolby Digital, and Dolby Digital Plus.

The Arc projectors also offer HDR10 support. A native 16:9 aspect ratio, and 41.9 percent DCI-P3 color coverage for better contrast and color accuracy. Smart display features such as Smooth Trapezoidal Recalibration, auto-keystone correction. Instant autofocus, and obstacle avoidance aim to make setup easy and viewing more immersive.

For connectivity, both models support Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band WiFi 5, USB 2.0, and HDMI 1.5 and 2.0 with Dolby passthrough. Lumio also claims L1 Widevine and Netflix ESN compliance for secure content playback. The projectors are supported by over 200 offline service centers across India, offering a carry-in service model.
