Both new monitors are built around Samsung’s third-generation QD-OLED panel. They feature a 27-inch display with 1440p resolution.

The company offers two refresh rate options for different performance needs. The XG27ACDMS supports 280Hz, while the XG27AQDMES supports 240Hz.

Both displays feature a semi-glossy coating for improved clarity. Asus lists a response time of 0.03 milliseconds for each model.

The monitors include the OLED Care Pro system for panel protection. This feature reduces burn-in risk, which is a common concern with OLED displays.

A built-in proximity sensor plays a key role in this system. It dims the display automatically when the user is not present. Asus continues to refine durability features in its OLED lineup.

The monitors target gamers seeking high refresh rates and strong color performance. QD-OLED technology delivers improved contrast and vibrant visuals.

XG27ACDMS Offers Higher Brightness and USB-C While XG27AQDMES Targets Lower Price

The ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMS includes more advanced specifications than its counterpart. Asus equips this model with a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits.

This higher brightness enhances visibility in bright environments. It also improves HDR performance for games and media content.

Asus includes a USB-C port with 15W power delivery on the monitor. This feature supports device connectivity and provides limited charging capabilities.

With these additional features, Asus prices the XG27ACDMS at $699 in the United States. The company targets users who seek premium performance.

Meanwhile, Asus offers the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMES as a more affordable alternative. The company prices this model at $599 and provides fewer advanced features.

To reduce costs, Asus lowers the peak brightness to 400 nits. The company also removes the USB-C port from this model.

Despite these changes, the monitor retains core OLED advantages. The panel delivers fast response times and high-quality color reproduction.

Availability varies by region for the two models. In the United States, Asus lists both monitors, although the XG27AQDMES is currently out of stock.
