ultimateimp – GMKtec has officially launched the EVO-T1, a powerful mini PC aimed at high-performance computing enthusiasts. After teasing the device earlier this year, the company has now started selling it in China, with global availability expected soon. The EVO-T1 arrives just weeks after GMKtec introduced the NucBox G10, a more budget-oriented option powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U. In contrast, the EVO-T1 is positioned closer to GMKtec’s flagship EVO-X1 in terms of performance and capabilities.

GMKtec powers the EVO-T1 with Intel’s new Core Ultra 9 285H from the Arrow Lake-H series. This processor, built on a 5 nm process, offers 16 cores and reaches clock speeds of up to 5.4 GHz on its Lion Cove P-cores. It integrates the Arc Graphics 140T GPU, which handles 1080p gaming without needing a dedicated graphics card. To support users who require higher graphical performance, GMKtec equips the EVO-T1 with OCuLink connectivity for adding an external GPU (eGPU).
At launch, GMKtec ships the EVO-T1 with 64 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage. The company sells this configuration for CNY 5,699 in China, or about $795 USD. GMKtec plans to offer versions with lower RAM and storage capacities for the global market, which should reduce the starting price. However, the company has not yet announced an international release date.
High-End Connectivity and Expansion Options in Compact Form
The EVO-T1 offers a wide range of connectivity options for both work and entertainment needs. Users will find two USB 2.0 ports and three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports for general peripherals. The system also includes a USB Type-C port, which supports full function, though its exact specification is unspecified. Additionally, a USB4 port is present for high-speed data transfer and expanded compatibility.
For display output, the EVO-T1 features both HDMI and DisplayPort connections, enabling support for multiple monitors. Gamers and creators can take advantage of the OCuLink port, which allows the connection of a discrete eGPU to boost graphics performance. Networking is also robust, with dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports offering fast and reliable wired connectivity. Audio needs are handled via two 3.5 mm jacks for input and output.

With these features, GMKtec positions the EVO-T1 as a future-ready mini PC suitable for gaming, content creation, and heavy multitasking. Its compact design does not compromise performance, making it a strong alternative to full-sized desktops. As the company prepares for a global release, tech enthusiasts can expect competitive pricing and continued innovation from GMKtec’s evolving mini-PC lineup.
